Billy Casper Golf to Stage 'World's Largest Golf Outing' Aug. 18


Proceeds Benefit Wounded Warrior Project in Guinness Book of World Records Attempt

(VIENNA, VA) - Billy Casper Golf - owner and operator of more than 125 golf courses, country clubs and resorts - will host the "World's Largest Golf Outing" to benefit Wounded Warrior Project Aug. 18 at more than 80 of its courses in 24 states.

The simultaneous golf outing - to enter the Guinness Book of World Records - is open to golfers of all abilities and does not require a USGA handicap.

Registration is at 11:30 a.m. local time with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. at most courses. Entry fees vary by location and include greens and cart fee, range balls, lunch, awards reception, on-course contests and prizes.

BCG projects more than 5,000 golfers will participate, shattering the current world record.

A portion of proceeds benefits Wounded Warrior Project, a national non-profit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. Wounded veterans will also play golf at select outings.
