Kate Lord Adds Three New Collections for Spring 2012

(NEW BEDFORD, Mass.) – The Kate Lord collection by AHEAD continues to be one of the best performing women’s lines in the golf shop today. Worn by Brittany Lincicome, two-time winner on the LPGA this year, the Kate Lord collection is designed as a lifestyle brand. The success of the Kate Lord collection stems from its classic fit and style for today’s active women. For spring, Kate Lord has added three new color collections to its popular golf shop line—Seabreeze, Julep and Lavender. Each collection offers a selection of performance fabric polos with matching bottoms and sweaters and is complemented with matching outerwear. The entire collection is designed to keep women cool, dry and most importantly comfortable on the course.

Kate Lord Spring Collections
The Spring 2012 collection offers a variety of performance polos that will look fashionable on and off the course. The suggested retail for polos range between $50-$59 (sizes S-XL).  Kate Lord also offers color coordinated companion merchandise such as sweaters, shorts and outerwear.

Collections:
* Seabreaze is a collection that features a mix of seabreeze, julep and white for a fresh spring look. The collection will be available Dec. 15, 2011 and March 1, 2012.
* Julep is a mix of bright colors featuring julep, bubblegum and white for a modern classic look. The collection is available Jan. 30, 2012.
* Lavender is a color palette of lavender and white which makes a soft, fashion statement for spring. The collection is available March 1. 2012.

Kate Lord has also added three fleece outerwear pieces to complement the collections.

* Brushed French Rib Full Fleece is made of 98 percent cotton and 2 percent spandex French rib. It has a full-zip front placket and princess seam panels. It is available in white, black, bubblegum, seabreeze and julep for a suggested retail of $68.  (Sizes S-XL)
* Ladies Full-Zip Piped Fleece is made of 100 percent polyester with a jersey face fleece back. It has a full-zip front placket and contrast piping on the chest, sleeve and armhole.  Available colors are julep/white, bahama/white, black/white, white/black and bubblegum/white. Suggested retail is $67. (Sizes S-XL)
* Asymetrical Color-Block Fleece is made of 100 percent polyester with a jersey face fleece back and zippered front pockets and princess seams. It has a full- zip front placket. The fleece is available in bubblegum/black, julep/black, and seabreeze/pewter for a suggested retail of $86.

“We’re extremely pleased how well our members have responded to Kate Lord products in the shop,” said Nancy Russell, pro shop manager Lake Nona Country Club in Orlando Fla.  “They love the style, fit and the value really resonates with them.  Kate Lord skorts have also been selling very well.”

All Kate Lord apparel can be customized using traditional embroidery, vintage label, woven appliqué label, woven appliqué label with embroidery, or the popular rubber appliqué label.
