SeeMore Putters Celebrates the 15th Anniversary of Payne Stewart's Victory at the U.S. Open

SeeMore originally became recognized when Payne Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open playing a SeeMore putter. Stewart one-putted the last three holes to win the championship by one stroke. He sunk what’s considered to be the longest putt in Open history on the 18th hole to win the tournament. Stewart also won the overall putting title for fewest putts per round over the entire 1999 season.

This week and next you will see a number of video replays of Payne Stewart making that miraculous putt on the 18th green at Pinehurst. If you look closely during the replays you will see his caddie, Mike Hicks, wearing a SeeMore putter hat. Hicks was Stewart's long time caddie. Presently, Hicks is a SPi instructor and has his own putting studio at Mill Creek Golf Club in Mebane, NC.

Why SeeMore?
If you talk to Pat O'Brien (close friend of Stewart) and Hicks, they will both tell you that Payne had the same questions that all golfers have. Before using a SeeMore putter he would say - my hands are never in the same position … my set-up is always different ... do not feel comfortable ... where am I aiming?  Sound familiar?

Forty percent of strokes during a round of golf are used with a putter. Take a look at the 1999 US Open Champion and the 2007 MASTERS Champion.  They both utilized the same technology as a SeeMore user today. RST (RilfeScope Technology) will never change. It is based of the teachings of Pat O'Brien and the fundamentals of golf. It is that simple and fun.
