The Governors Club Continues Progress on Master Improvement Plan

Projects intended to up the quality of amenities and services to members and guests

(Brentwood, Tenn.) – KemperSports announced The Governors Club in Brentwood, Tenn., is continuing its’ multi-year, seven-figure master plan in order to add to the member experience at the Club.

The projects are phase 2 of an extensive club renovation project that took place last year. This phase will include the construction of a new member terrace as well as the extensive expansion and remodel of the Palmer Dining Room. These clubhouse projects are in addition to the resurfacing of all 18 greens with the preferred MiniVerde Bermuda turf that was completed and reopened in September 2013.

The member terrace will add more than 50 seats to the comfortable outdoor dining space as well as include two fire pits. The terrace renovation will be complete by September 2014.

The Palmer Dining Room expansion and redesign will add more than 30 seating opportunities to the elegant dining space, including two private dining rooms that will seat 12-16 guests each and new robust bar space. The project is slated for early 2015.

The Governors Club opened in May 1999, and is designated as an Arnold Palmer Signature Design. The 18-hole, par-72 golf course spanning 7,031 yards from the championship tees is situated on 200 acres of the most scenic land in the region. The layout is routed through meandering creeks, dramatic elevation changes and stunning vistas. Along with an incredible golf experience and full golf memberships, The Governors Club also offers social and corporate memberships.
