TaylorMade’s Tim Huet Inducted into Golf Coaches Association of America Hall of Fame

One of Six Inductees in 2014 Class, Huet Recognized for His Contributions to College Golf

(Carlsbad, Calif.) – TaylorMade Golf Company’s Tim Huet, founder of the company’s collegiate program in 1988 and longtime driver of the company’s efforts in collegiate golf, was one of six inductees officially honored at the GCAA Hall of Fame Reception and Awards Banquet last night in Las Vegas.

Huet, who has been with TaylorMade Golf Company for more than 20 years and formed TaylorMade’s College Coaches Advisory Board, has led the company’s efforts in the sponsoring and support of countless collegiate tournaments and more than 100 Division I, II and III programs.

Huet is also credited with developing TaylorMade’s Developmental Pro initiative, created to assist collegiate golfers and their transitions into professional golf.

In the spring of 2003, Huet, in conjunction with the GCAA, created the Jan Strickland Assistant Coach of the Year Award, which has been sponsored by TaylorMade Golf Company since its inception.

Today, Huet manages The Kingdom, TaylorMade’s exclusive fitting facility in Carlsbad, where he oversees all operations and manages a staff of industry-recognized clubfitters.
