With Power, Distance and a Stellar Performance, Lexi Fights to Victory at the Meijer LPGA Classic

COBRA PUMA GOLF Pro Lexi Thompson Captures Her First Win of the 2015 Season Using  COBRA Golf Clubs And Rocking PUMA Golf Apparel and Footwear

(CARLSBAD, CA) – With a stunning fourth round that included eight birdies, Lexi Thompson, a COBRA PUMA GOLF Tour Player, shot a final-round 65 to take home her fifth LPGA win at the Meijer LPGA Classic in Grand Rapids, Mi. Thompson won by one using COBRA Golf equipment and wearing PUMA Golf apparel, accessories and footwear from the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection.
     
“I’m very happy with the way I played this whole week. This win definitely gives me confidence going into next weeks’ British Women’s Open,” said Thompson. “My COBRA Clubs give me a lot of confidence and helped me play my best through each round. Thompson has been using COBRA Golf equipment and wearing PUMA Golf gear on the course since she first turned pro in June, 2010, becoming the first athlete to sign with both brands after they joined forces. She found success early in her career, winning the 2011 Navistar LPGA Classic at 16, briefly holding the title as the youngest winner in LPGA Tour history, the 2011 OMEGA Dubai Ladies Master’s Championship on the Ladies European Tour and the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia in 2013, to rise to No. 9 in the Rolex Rankings. Last year she captured her first Major title at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
