Coach Labs Inc, Makers of DuoTrac, Unveiled Golf’s First Intelligent Ball at PGA Show

(LONG BEACH, Calif.) - Coach Labs, manufacturers of DuoTrac Golf, the world’s first complete swing and hip sway analyzer, unveiled the world’s first true intelligent ball in Booth 1289 at the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.

Coach Lab’s Intelligent Ball is the first of its kind and was officially introduced to members of the media at a special invitation-only launch event on Wednesday. Curt Menefee, Host of Fox NFL Sunday, was the Master of Ceremonies.

Officially named “Gen i1” for ‘Generation Intelligence,’ this ball is poised to disrupt multiple business sectors including golf simulation, gaming and practice facilities. Gen i1 will be able to deliver critical data points such as ball speed, back spin, launch angle, carry distance and smash factor.

The Gen i1 will be rolled out in three phases:
Phase 1: Connect to the App as a training aid to display ball speed, back spin, launch angle, carry distance and smash factor within seconds. The short game feature will also allow players to see initial direction, path, peak height and ball speed. It will also provide detailed information on the putter face at impact as well as general stroke data.

Phase 2: Connect Gen i1 with your favorite golfing games to play top courses through individual and tournament competitions.

Phase 3: Golfers will be able to connect Gen i1 to smart ranges to play some of the best golf courses in the world at locations around the country.

“At Coach Labs, we are continuing to push the envelope with multi-sensor technology,” said Jason Koo, CEO & Founder of DuoTrac. “Gen i1 along with the DuoTrac Swing and Hip Sway Sensors will be the most technologically advanced, portable and affordable swing analysis system offered in golf.”

DuoTrac has increased its footprint at the 2017 PGA Show adding several demo bays inside Booth 1289.  PGA professionals, media and distributors will be able to experience the latest version of the 4D swing analysis app in real time. DuoTrac’s Director of Instruction, Tim Leible, will be on hand to demonstrate the potential of DuoTrac’s technology with training tips and drills.
