Sea Pines Country Club Announces 2018 Membership Plans

Hilton Head Island’s Premier Private Club Offers a Variety of Categories to Meet Demand

(HILTON HEAD, S.C.) – Sea Pines Country Club – the lone private club within Sea Pines featuring golf, tennis, multiple pools and fitness – announces 2018 memberships designed around active, healthy lifestyles and myriad social activities.

Located just inside the gates of the 5,000-acre Sea Pines Resort, Sea Pines Country Club is situated on a stunning stretch of Lowcountry tidal marsh that is the visual focal point of the entire property. Its clubhouse recently completed a multi-million-dollar renovation, making it the vibrant epicenter of the “Islanders Way of Life.” Members are already enjoying new casual dining at the redesigned Blue Heron Pub and Grille, as well as new indoor and outdoor pools (including a kid’s pool with jets).

The club’s most popular and expansive membership category is “The Heritage” featuring full golf privileges on the immaculately-maintained Club Course designed by Arnold Palmer. It also includes access to the fitness center, pools, dining and robust social calendar. Heritage members have the option to upgrade to 54 or 72-holes with preferred access to The Sea Pines Resort courses, including famed Harbour Town Golf Links.

Based on industry trends and membership feedback, the club has expanded its innovative “Membership Just for You” category. Depending on how many days a prospective member spends in Hilton Head and his or her desired amenities and lifestyle pursuits, the club offers customized memberships for individuals and families.

“Today, clubs cannot expect to attract quality members with rigid membership categories,” Robbie Ames, general manager of Sea Pines Country Club. “Our 2018 memberships are part of our commitment to provide current and prospective members with a dynamic experience that aligns with what they expect from a modern, progressive club.”

“The Clubhouse” membership is ideal for those who value social, fitness and dining experiences. Members in this category have access to the fitness facilities, personal trainers, all pools and casual and formal dining options. Additionally, members can choose to add tennis plans including unlimited play on eight lighted Har-Tru courts.

Membership is by invitation only, and the club has volunteer ambassadors that happily introduce candidates to member sponsors. Its customized Day of Discovery offers an opportunity to experience one of the Southeast’s most progressive private clubs. If a day is not enough then the club also offers a 30- day trial to get a true feel for the Club.
